This is one great rug! Handwoven by a Swedish artisan on a wooden loom. This rug is simply, yet elegantly designed and very skillfully woven. The wonderful yellow/gold/apricot is clearly the star. White, blended into the center bands softens the pure yellow/gold. Black bands at each end of the rug serve as an elegant touch and boundary, serving to accentuate the yellow/gold - thus, several design elements at work to feature this color. Black narrow bands, white narrow bands with black dots and wide white bands add wonderful decorative detailing. This rug can be compatible in any interior design. It is reversible and may be washed gently in cold water.
